Budget Analyst
Description:
Join the South Central Regional Transit District team as a Budget Analyst. This full-time position supports the development, monitoring, and analysis of the District’s operating and capital budgets, financial forecasting, grant compliance, and financial reporting. The Budget Analyst works closely with District leadership and departments to monitor expenditures, prepare budget reports, analyze financial trends, and support long-term financial planning.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Public Administration, or a related field required. Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or public sector finance. Experience with transit or government budgeting is preferred.

This position operates passenger buses along fixed and demand-response routes, provides excellent customer service, and ensures safe, on-time transportation. CDL with passenger endorsement is required.
